Week 2: Time

During this weeklong set of activities, you and your child will explore the concept of time through games, stories and other educational activities.  We encourage you to use dialogue as much as possible to promote questioning and to construct new thoughts and ideas about time.

To understand the importance and impact of time on our lives and make judgements about our use of time.

SUCCESS CRITERIA:
We will:

  • Describe what time is and connect the concept to our daily lives.
  • Reflect upon the quantity and quality of time that is available to us.
  • Examine the range of time that different activities take to complete.
  • Evaluate the importance of different activities and commitments that use up/consume our time.
