Study Tours

We host study tours for overseas visitors to witness the impact of Challenging
Learning in schools, pre-schools and colleges

We connect teachers, leaders, and support staff with schools, pre-schools and colleges currently using Challenging Learning approaches to improve student outcomes. During the study tour, we mix classroom visits with workshops led by our CL team. There’s also the opportunity for tourist time, shopping trips, and maybe one or two pubs along the way.

One of our most popular annual events is the hosting of approximately 100 visitors on their way to the BETT conference in London. The tour includes time in Edinburgh, visits to local schools, a workshop with James Nottingham or Martin Renton, and then a train journey down the picturesque east coast of England to London in time for BETT. This is organised in conjunction with Advania Skolpartner.

We also welcome commissions from other organisations throughout the year. Typically, we host between 1 and 3 study tour groups every month. Options include visits to Northumberland, Edinburgh, Aberdeen, Leeds, Exeter, and London. We organise everything except your travel to the UK.
